At Sandwich Infant School, we are proud to work with Whole School Meals (Kent), who provide freshly prepared, nutritious and delicious hot lunches for our children each day.

As an infant school, all children are entitled to a free school meal through the Government's Universal Infant Free School Meals scheme. This means that every child in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 can enjoy a healthy hot lunch at no cost to families.

Whole School Meals offers a varied menu with a range of options to suit different tastes and dietary requirements. Parents and carers can view the menu in advance and choose the days on which they would like their child to have a school meal. This flexibility allows families to select hot lunches on the days that best suit their child and their preferences.

School meals are a great opportunity for children to enjoy balanced, nutritious food alongside their friends and to experience a wide variety of flavours and ingredients. We encourage families to take advantage of this fantastic free entitlement and enjoy the convenience of a healthy, freshly prepared lunch each day.
