At Sandwich Infant school, we strive to provide resources in order to equip children with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate digital technology competently and safely, developing their creativity, resilience, problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Technology should be used to support learning throughout the curriculum and that every child is able to access the curriculum. It is our vision that children at Sandwich Infant School will be digitally literate, confident and safe users of technology.

At Sandwich Infant School, children learn computing skills within the strands of digital literacy, information technology and computer science. We provide our children with hardware such as laptops, iPads, beebots and classroom computers as well as the related software needed in order to develop their knowledge and skills. We consistently model and educate children on how to use technology positively, responsibly and safely.
