We are very proud that Sandwich Infant School continues to be recognised as a good school following our Ofsted inspection on 30 January 2024. Inspectors described our school as a “friendly and caring place” and recognised our nurturing ethos alongside the high expectations we have for every child. They highlighted that children settle quickly, make good academic and social progress, feel safe and behave well. The report also recognised the positive support provided for pupils with SEND and our strong focus on children’s personal, social and emotional development.

We are particularly proud that inspectors recognised our small-school, family ethos and that our children enjoy coming to school and benefit from a good and continually improving quality of education.
